Dr Rakesh Patel is a leading Interventional Radiologist. Rakesh graduated from London in 2003. Dr Rakesh Patel received his MBBS, became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2007 and a fellow of the Royal College of Radiology in 2010. He gained his IR and general radiology training in Birmingham before undertaking a year of fellowship training at the Royal United Hospital Bath & North Bristol NHS Trust. As a visiting fellow, he gained further experience in complex vascular disease in Nuremberg. Dr Rakesh Patel is currently the lead IR at Hillingdon Hospital and has extensive experience in vascular and non-vascular Interventional Radiology. His areas of interest including diagnostic vascular imaging, pelvic vein disorder and uterine fibroid embolisation.
